Liam Finn hints to extension of Eddie Vedder solo tour

In a new interview on CNN.com Liam Finn, whom recently toured with Eddie Vedder in California (April 2008) hints that there might be an extension of that tour presumably later this year after the Pearl Jam summer tour.

CNN: There is this rumor going around. Are you going to be touring with him again, perhaps?

Finn: (Smiles) I hope to do more with Eddie in the future.




 
Pearl Jam To Play Beacon Theatre Charity Event

In addition to their two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, Pearl Jam will also play New York’s Beacon Theatre July 1st for a private charity event benefiting the Robin Hood organization. Tickets for the event went on sale via donations to Robin Hood, which targets poverty in New York. After a minimum $100 donation, fans have access to up to six tickets starting at $250. The event is expected to raise $3 million for the charity.


 
Eddie Vedder performs at Howard Zinn event

On Friday night at a church in Portland Oregon, a sellout crowed gathered for  "Voices of a People's History" featuring famous actors, East Coast performers and selected Portlanders reading excerpts from Howard Zinn's "Voices of a People's History of the United States." Eddie Vedder was also in attendance and at the end of the event performed Long Road dedicated to the late Roslyn Zinn. You can read more information about the event from this article.
